across Europe. Marcos China is a Carioca (Carioca is person who is born in Rio de Janeiro) He travelled to over 20 countries promoting Brazilian culture and has worked alongside many well known artists in Brazil and abroad. He has also recorded sound tracks for TV and films.
China travelled went back to Brazil in 1987 to start a workshop to make organic percussion instruments. The instruments created and produce by China has been used by many percussionists around the world
At the moment Marcos China is coordinating in Rio de Janeiro in the- Oficina de Fabricacao de Instruments. (Instrument making workshop) Alongside the Batucadas Brazileiras.

Mestre Lua Rasta
In 1968 Mestre Bimba started something that he didn’t know quite what would happen! Bimba give his martial art talent to Lua Rasta. A year later he moved to Mestre Canjiquinha academy where he stayed for a long time, he then went onto join the fokloric group Aberre and started to develop Capoeira as a theatrical language.
Lua Rasta accomplished the course under the instruction of his master; he then participated in many Capoeira Roda in Brazil and around the world and in Europe he went onto spend three years opening doors to Capoeira Angola.
